This 10mm cartridge sports a 180 grain projectile, weighted to closely emulate the recoil and ballistic performance of an analogous self-defense load and balanced to promote good in-flight rotational stability. The bullet’s gilding metal jacket prevents soft lead from coming into contact with a barrel’s riflings, thus preserving their ability to stabilize. The bullet’s flat nose profile lets it feed especially easily, and subsequently creates an easy to see hole through a paper or cardboard target.

These rounds’ brass casings are supple and share identical dimensions, so they expand to effectively seal the chamber and won’t throw off your handgun’s ability to cycle reliably. Federal’s own Boxer primers won’t eventually cause a pistol to rust out, and their propellant is precision loaded to generate a stable muzzle velocity.
