The one-ounce shot column’s lighter weight means that its 1,250 fps muzzle velocity won’t create unmanageable recoil. The shell’s one-piece shot cup is attached to a hinged base that compresses during ignition to further minimize recoil while simultaneously preventing shot pellet deformation.
