These include non-corrosive 209 primers, sleek brass heads, and moisture-resistant plastic hulls with a firm crimp and rolled edges that protect the shot load and smooth loading respectively. The hull length for this cartridge is 2-3/4 inches and is compatible with nearly all 12 gauge shotguns available.The shot load in this particular shell consists of 1-1/8 ounces of #8 lead shot which is a popular choice for shattering clay pigeons during trap events.
