This shell is loaded with 1-1/8 ounces of low-antimony #8 lead shot pellets, which are kept spherical and ballistically efficient under pressure by Remington’s one-piece Power Piston wad. The collapsing plastic wad complements the shell’s abnormally slow 1,100 fps muzzle velocity to promote even softer kick with each trigger pull. Better yet, it assures more consistent performance by forming an extra efficient gas seal in the barrel.
