Remington’s Slugger shell boasts a lot of features for its appealing price tag. This versatile 12 Gauge slug is slightly oversized to let it seal optimally against the barrel wall of a smoothbore shotgun. Its rifling makes it compatible with chokes, and it will perform out of a rifled shotgun as well.The Slugger’s trajectory is impressively flat -- 25 percent flatter than many other comparable slugs, in fact. With its 1,560 fps muzzle velocity its range is far from limited, so it’s a fine choice for hunting deer wherever rifles aren’t allowed.
A Slugger’s propellant and primer are both formulated to prevent rapid fouling. These shells’ hulls are blue, making them easy to separate from your green or red buckshot loads.
