The slug is rifled for compatibility with a smoothbore, hollowed out at the base for greater stability and accuracy, and powerful enough to quickly anchor any medium-sized game.

Sterling equips their Tornado slug with a hinged wad, which squashes down to make the powerful projectile’s recoil energy a little less jarring before continuing to properly align it within the bore.
