This round’s 20 grain jacketed hollow point projectile is an XTP by Hornady. It’s a bullet that’s often used for self-defense applications in pistol calibers, and although we’re certain you’ll only ever be on the offensive when it comes to rodents it’s still a perfect bullet for shooting them. This XTP is highly accurate owing to its aerodynamic profile, swaged lead core, and concentric gilding metal jacket. It also expands very reliably thanks to its integrally serrated jacket and carefully engineered varying jacket thicknesses. The XTP’s jacket, which protects its nose, further promotes reliable feeding in a magazine fed rifle.
