About This Aguila .22 Long Rifle Ammunition

The CPHP’s copper exterior will not prevent lead fouling altogether, but it does help some to keep a firearm’s rifling cleaner and more effective at its job. Its nose cavity makes the CPHP an expanding bullet, if it hits its mark at a high enough velocity, which is the terminal performance that kills critters deader quicker.
Aguila gave this Mexican-made round a “diet” 38 grain bullet. It’s a smidgen lighter than usual, which contributes to its 1,280 fps rifle muzzle velocity. That promotes a flatter trajectory, which most folks find easier to aim, and delivers about 85 ft lbs of energy to a 100-yard target. If you see the squirrel, you can whack the squirrel.
