22 LR CCI AR TACTICAL 40 GRAIN CPRN (3000 ROUNDS)
This 22 LR cartridge from CCI’s AR Tactical line of ammunition is optimized to perform best in -- you guessed it -- an AR-style rifle! Its snappy, reactive rimfire primer, fast and clean burning propellant, and uniform brass casing all promote difficulty-free cycling in such a firearm. Our friends in Idaho even go so far as to test this ammo through their own M&P15-22!This is an accurate round, capable of grouping at 1.5 inches from 100 yards out. Its 40 grain bullet helps to maintain that precise performance over the course of a range day with its copper plating, which keeps lead from accumulating on the riflings where it doesn’t belong. This is a round nose bullet, with good impact energy and the ability to penetrate most plinking targets. Still, it will deform somewhat as it penetrates a soft target, making it all the less salubrious for varmints.
