Its light weight gives the bullet a lickety-split 1,260 fps muzzle velocity. That will provide a semi-auto with the juice it needs in order to cycle, as well as deliver a trajectory which stays supersonic until approximately 42 yards. The CPHP’s plating does not eliminate barrel fouling, although it does reduce it, and its nose cavity hammers small game with fast positive expansion.
