This cartridge is armed with a segmented hollow point. It’s got a peppy muzzle velocity for a 40 grain bullet, so it flies flat and punches hard on impact. It’s copper-plated, too, so it conserves accuracy by reducing lead fouling. But the SHP saves its very best trick for last: fragmentation into three pieces that each deliver their own separate wound channel.
