Forty five grains is a relatively beefy bullet to top off a little 22 LR with, but CCI did so for an excellent reason. This round is far from some plinking novelty. Its accurate bullet features a hollow point meplat that enables it to do exaggerated damage to game such as squirrel, raccoon, or bunny rabbit. And while this round’s muzzle velocity is slower, its propellant is still perfectly able to cycle a semi-automatic so you can enjoy it the way it is meant to be.
