22 LR REMINGTON 22 THUNDERBOLT 40 GRAIN LRN (5000 ROUNDS)
22 Thunderbolt is Remington’s best-selling line of 22 LR cartridges. Its popularity is attributable to more than just its beautiful price tag -- this round delivers a 1,255 fps muzzle velocity to give it the flat trajectory you need to enjoy satisfying plinking, target shooting, training, and varmint control alike. This round sports a 40 grain projectile, its caliber’s original bullet weight. The bullet is made of lead in part to make it more affordable, but lead’s softness means it will deform somewhat within squirrels and other similar soft targets to create a devastating wound channel. This bullet’s round nose profile also delivers superior impact energy, and further inclines it to pierce many types of materials.
This cartridge’s brass casing and rimfire primer are both resistant to corrosion, so you needn’t worry about how to make use of 5,000 of them right away. This round’s propellant burns clean to preserve your weapon’s action as well. Best of all, when you order this heap of ammo you can count on AmmoMan.com to cover the shipping and handling!

Great ammo will be back
How quickly did your order arrive? How likely are you to recommend this product to a friend? My Ruger mark 4 Hunter went into the factory 2 times for failure to eject. I tried many different 22lr bullets. It would not eject. One day one year later I bought a 500 hundred box of Remington Thunderbolts. Out of the 500 rounds I had one failure to eject. So I went to the Ammo man and ordered 5000 rds. of Remington Thunderbolts. So far out of 2000 rds. I had 2 failure to ejects. Great price great service. Thank you very much. Bob R.

I have a $750 Ruger mark 4. It has been sent into the Ruger factory 2 times for failure to eject.

Hi Bob. Here is a thought. I have heard that Rugers can have an issue with the bullet design on the Remington T-bolts. Have you tried the CCI Mini-Mags? These typically work very well out to the Ruger MK series guns. Rooster
