What a supremely useful plastic bucket! You can use it to bail out your canoe, store interesting shells you find on the seashore, or stop a roof leak from damaging your floorboards. You can even put it over your head during the scary parts of movies!But before you can utilize Remington’s bucket, you’ll have to fire all 1,400 rounds of 22 LR that it comes filled with. No problem there – these rounds are just as fit for varmint hunting as they are target shooting, because they are equipped with 36 grain copper-plated hollow point bullets. (Technically the bullets have brass plating, because the copper is fortified with zinc.)
A lightweight bullet like this is going to issue out of a rifle’s muzzle at 1,280 fps. That’s supersonic, so you’ll get a satisfyingly flat trajectory coupled with sufficient chamber pressure to cycle a semi-auto. When the CPHP bullet connects with a rodent or some other type of undesirable critter, it’s going to expand outward to make sure it knows it’s been shot.
These rounds have Remington’s fine brass cases, sensitive and non-corrosive primers, and charges of clean-burning powder. The bullets’ hard jackets will also help to keep your firearm’s barrel cleaner and in better working order!

Hair off a Gnats ***

Posted onPurchased this ammo at a local store. After my rifle was sighted in I shot a hair off a gnats *** - - spectacular! However, the gnat was 26" to the right of the target I was aiming at 10' in front of me. If you are looking for ammo that will hit the target you intend, this is not it. However, perfect for plinking, learning to clear jams, if you really want to get to know your rifle AND...let's not forget, you can always re-purpose the plastic container - - I use mine to collect brass at the range. Could be used to make igloos in the winter, entertainment for the dog, wear it as a hat, or for the sand box. So many uses. They really thought that through. I have dealt with Ammoman.com several times and they are an excellent company.
