About This PMC 223 Remington Ammunition

This .223 Remington ammunition is a favorite range staple for many AR-15 shooters due to its combination of low cost, good accuracy, and reliable cycling. Each cartridge in this box of 20 fires a 55 grain full metal jacket bullet at about 3,200 feet per second and produces ballistics similar to those of M193 ball ammo.

PMC ammunition is manufactured in South Korea by Poongsan, a munitions company with decades of experience producing .223/5.56 ammunition for the South Korean military. All PMC ammo uses non-corrosive Boxer primers and brass cases.

    Fired them through the AR and a bolt action, never misfired, no deformations, and very accurate for an inexpensive round. Shot consistent 2 in. groups from 400 yards, from both rifles. Love this ammo.

    Bought 1000 rounds for new AR-15 with Wylde barrel and it arrived quickly. Fired 30 rounds setting the sights on a 4X Tactical Scope. After that at 75 yards everything went into a 1 1/2 inch circle. No misfires or hangs, ran clean. Will definitely reorder when this goes on sale again.
