This 223 Rem ammo (which works in a 5.56x45 rifle) is made by Armscor: a Philippine company, with a production facility in Montana that earns them the right to put “USA” on the box. The general purpose medium-to-small game hunting cartridge is loaded with the usual 55 grain projectile, although it isn’t an FMJ. It is a pointed soft point, with a similarly aerodynamic frontal profile and an unjacketed tip that enables terminal expansion.

Here’s a fun thing to do: Put a magnet right next to the bullet and observe as nothing happens. You can also amuse yourself by watching this ammo’s primers not cause corrosion, or by handloading its brass. Fifty boxes of 20 rounds per flat.
