This .223 Remington ammo is from Federal's Fusion line and is an ideal for hunting coyotes, other varmints and small to midsize game. Each cartridge fires a 62 grain soft point bullet at a muzzle velocity of 3,000 feet per second. The Fusion bullets feature a lead core that is fused to a copper jacket, preventing any core-jacket separation. Because of this fusion, the bullets will also expand into a consistent mushroom shape and retain most of its weight upon target impact. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, Boxer primed and in reloadable brass cases.
