This is technically one box of ammo. The box just happens to contain 1,000 rounds of Winchester USA 223 Rem – one of the most popular choices of ammo for America’s all-time favorite rifle, the AR-15!

This cartridge has the 223 Rem’s most popular specs. Its 55 grain bullet is just the right weight to deliver a muzzle velocity of 3,240 fps, which translates to a 0.248 G1 BC. The aerodynamic projectile is thus able to stick to a flat trajectory as it retains a velocity of no less than 1,500 fps at 500 yards. The nonmagnetic bullet consists of only a copper alloy jacket and a lead core, which is all you want for target shooting when terminal expansion would provide no benefit to performance.

This loose-packed ammo is non-corrosive, with the brass cases and Boxer primers that make it great for reloading. We want to emphasize that this ammo’s brass cases are factory fresh – they were not polished after receiving heat-treatment for greater durability and suppleness.
