About This Fiocchi 300 AAC Blackout Ammunition

This 300 AAC Blackout cartridge from Fiocchi’s Exacta line of ammunition features a 220 grain MatchKing projectile by Sierra. The MatchKing is an exceptionally accurate bullet courtesy of a number of its features, including its exceedingly concentric jacket, strictly controlled for weight, narrow hollow point meplat (which doesn’t deliver expanding terminal performance), and tapered base. All together this round offers hair splitting accuracy, even though its muzzle velocity is only 1,020 fps.

That slow muzzle velocity is by design, however. Because this round will never break the sound barrier, you may enjoy it to train quietly in places where you’d rather remain inconspicuous, or to initiate newer shooters who you’d rather not condition to instinctively flinch when they pull the trigger. This round’s clean burning propellant will treat your rifle’s action with kid gloves, and its new production brass casing can be kept alive and ticking if you’ve skill with a reloading press.
