This 300 Win Mag Precision Hunter cartridge features a 200 grain ELD-X, a bullet that combines pinpoint accuracy with disastrous terminal performance over any practical range. The ELD-X’s Doppler verified Heat Shield polymer tip is immune to melting when baked by air friction, so the bullet’s meplat remains sharp throughout its trajectory. That trajectory is preserved even further by the ELD-X’s AMP jacket, boat tail, and extremely ballistically efficient secant ogive profile.When the ELD-X strikes its target at high velocity, the InterLock ring that roots its thick shank to its core ensures no less than 50 percent weight retention as it rapidly expands. At lower velocities, its weight retention does not fall beneath 85 percent to deliver very deep penetration coupled with deadly mushrooming. You can not predict how far your quarry will stand from you when you find it. With a Precision Hunter round in your chamber, that variable will hardly matter!
