As a pointed soft point, the bullet features the ballistically efficient profile that flattens trajectory and transfers authoritative kinetic energy on impact. The 0.294 G1 BC bullet reaches 300 yards without exhibiting a trajectory that rises more than 5.1” above the bore line. At that range it still strikes with over 1,800 ft lbs of energy, too!
The Core-Lokt takes a low-tech yet highly effective approach to preventing fragmentation. Its jacket is mechanically fastened to its core, thus keeping both components mostly intact following higher-velocity impact. The Core-Lokt’s soft, exposed lead tip enables it to expand to more than 0.6” in diameter, thus inflicting the wide wound channel that’ll stop any buck dead in its tracks.
