This 303 British ammunition has a 150 grain soft point boat-tail projectile, and is perfect for both marksmanship training and for hunting medium game. The soft point on the bullet provides expansion and causes a larger and more lethal wound channel, as compared to FMJ's. If you hit vitals, your game should hit the ground where it stands. Accuracy won't be a problem with this round either. The boat-tail on this bullet cuts down on the drag and yaw while in flight, dramatically improving accuracy over longer distances. This ammo has reloadable brass case, is non-corrosive, and is Boxer-primed.The 303 British cartridge was first put into service in 1888 for use in the Lee-Metford rifle. In 1891 the cartridge was changed to smokeless powder, and became the primary cartridge for Britain and the UK until the 1950's. Since then it has retained some popularity because of military surplus rifles, but also because it is an effective hunting caliber.
