This AR-friendly ammo features the 150 grain Gold Dot soft point. It is a true bonded projectile, with an electrochemically fused together jacket and core. A jacket that was created one molecule at a time is exceedingly concentric, which grants the bullet superior gyroscopic stability. Once the bullet clears a 24” barrel at a rate of 2,820 fps, its 0.414 G1 BC ensures that it will follow a flat trajectory – as well as remain supersonic past 1,000 yards.

More impressively, the Gold Dot soft point is capable of retaining 100% of its weight as it penetrates ballistic gelatin, even if the gel is shielded by heavy fabric or wallboard. Other barriers aren’t much of a match for the bullet, which retains 94% of its weight after passing through steel, 93% of its weight after passing through plywood, or 30% of its weight after penetrating safety glass. Under most conditions the soft point will expand to over 0.75” in diameter before finally coming to a halt.
