Super interesting ammo for you right here, brother: Blazer Clean-Fire 38 Special +P, which is loaded in Idaho with clean-shooting total metal jacket bullets and budget-friendly aluminum cases!This round’s 158 grain TMJ has a normal lead core. Its jacket, however, is special, because it completely encapsulates the core to prevent lead aerosolization throughout ignition. You’ll keep your barrel cleaner and your lungs safer. Blazer’s Clean-Fire primer is also lead-free – not to mention barium-free and antimony-free, so you’ll really be treating yourself to cleaner oxygen while you’re annihilating targets at an indoor range.
Aluminum is a far more abundant metal than copper. That’s why this ammo’s aluminum cases are far more cost-effective than conventional brass ones. They aren’t reloadable, though, so don’t even bother trying to pop out their spent Berdan primers. More importantly, please note that this is overpressure ammo. It can destroy an antique 38 Spl revolver, but it’s just fine for a more modern one that’s rated for +P (not to mention 357 Mag revolvers and lever guns).
