These .38 Special +P rounds fire a 125 grain jacketed hollow point bullet designed with penetrating ribs that unfold when the round strikes an assailant. The relatively light projectile enables the cartridge to produce a muzzle velocity approaching 1,000 feet per second, further enhancing both penetration and expansion.This ammunition comes in boxes of 20 and uses non-corrosive Boxer primers and brass cases. It uses a "+P" pressure load so be sure to check that your trusty .38 Special revolver can handle a +P load (your 357 Magnum revolver shouldn't have any issue with this load).
