Tula loads this range and target ammo with steel cases, which make it appreciably less expensive than brass-cased alternatives. Tula’s steel cases are not reloadable and tend to accelerate fouling of the action, but they are protected against gradual corrosion in storage thanks to their zinc plating! (Just to be sure, a magnet will pick up the entire cartridge because of its steel case; only the bullet itself is nonmagnetic.)

This isn’t your usual everyday steel-cased ammo – far from it. Tula gives these range-friendly cartridges completely nonmagnetic 95 grain full metal projectiles! Their jackets are made of brass instead of copper-washed steel, and their lead cores are similarly incapable of attracting a magnet. If your range takes issue with magnetic ammo, they shouldn’t have a problem with this!

Tula also loads Berdan primers, which are a little bit more economical than the Boxer primers you’d find in American-made cartridges. But your handgun should have no issue igniting Berdan primers in the same exact fashion, and this new production ammo’s primers are not corrosive.
