It’s a love-hate relationship. On the one hand, you love practicing with your 40 S&W pistol, to the point where you don’t even need a flyswatter anymore. On the other, you hate paying through the nose for all the ammo you need to develop such fly-squashing accuracy.

Fortunately you’re a friend of the Ammo Man, and we’ve got just the fix in store for you right here. Whenever we accidentally damage our 40 S&W ammo’s packaging, we set the still perfectly good cartridges aside. We then count them out into lots of 100, seal them up in plastic bags, and offer them at a staggering discount. We defy you to find cheaper ammunition. Sure, you could join the Army where they’ll give you all the ammo you need free of charge – but you’d better really enjoy jogging before you’ve eaten your breakfast.

These cartridges have either steel or aluminum shell casings. Those metals make this ammo even more accessibly priced, but neither steel nor aluminum make suitable casings for handloading. Since steel casings are often accompanied by magnetic projectiles, these rounds may not be welcome at your local pistol range.

That’s really the most we can say about this grab bag! Each round’s manufacturer and the weight of the bullet it’s equipped with is totally luck of the draw, which means you’ll get to experiment a little!
