Its small #9 shot pellets may limit the round’s range, but a 1/2 ounce of #9 shot contains over 110 more pellets than the same amount of #7.5. That’s called a dense pattern: your friend when you’re knocking around clay pigeons.

This is max dram shell. That means it packs more power into its 2-1/2” length, which manifests itself as a high 1,275 fps muzzle velocity. That shortens the distance you have to aim ahead of the target. It provides a longer effective range, too. Good times.
