There’s no such thing as an unformidable 44 Magnum cartridge. But when you’re really shooting for all the marbles – either in self-defense, or so you can put some dinner on the table – then it only makes sense to invest in higher quality. Remington’s HTP series ammo is designed to make full use of everything your .44 cal revolver or lever gun can dish out!

This cartridge’s 240 grain bullet is a semi-jacketed hollow point. Its jacket leaves most of its lead core’s frontal surface area exposed, which helps it undergo fuller terminal expansion at lower velocities. Under optimal conditions, the bullet will inflict a wound column almost 0.9” wide. What little jacket the SJHP does have will help reduce barrel fouling, as well as promote higher weight retention so the bullet can penetrate deeper.

Remington’s classic Kleanbore priming is just as responsive as it is noncorrosive, and their straight, strong brass cases promise good performance out in the field and back home at the reloading table. Loaded in Arkansas, a state which makes much better ammo than it does presidents.
