That amplifies its muzzle velocity to 1,900 fps, which in turn gives it a 0.185 G1 ballistic coefficient that delivers approximately 1,000 ft lbs of kinetic energy to a target at 200 yards. The bullet is a hollow point flat nose – essentially a semi-jacketed hollow point with a broad nose profile that (A) is safe for a lever-action’s tubular magazine, and (B) punches a wide wound into the target on impact.
