45 ACP +P HORNADY CRITICAL DEFENSE 220 GRAIN JHP (20 ROUNDS)

Hornady Critical Defense ammunition is designed to perform flawlessly when an assailant forces you to defend yourself. These .45 ACP +P cartridges fire a 220 grain Flex Tip jacketed hollow point bullet at a muzzle velocity of 975 feet per second.

This is a high pressure (+P) load best suited to full size pistols like the P220 and 1911. It should not be used in firearms not rated for +P ammo.

Hornady Flex Tip bullets are distinguished by their soft polymer insert, which deflects materials that might clog the expansion cavity and ensures more reliable expansion.

These cartridges use non-corrosive Boxer primers, nickel-plated brass cases, and low-flash propellants that help make follow up shots easier. Sealed primers and case mouths ensure that the ammo performs reliably even after months or years of daily carry.
