This ammo is loaded with total metal case (TMC) bullets, but most people know them as total metal jackets (TMJ). Unlike a conventional FMJ, a TMJ’s lead core is entirely sealed away by its gilding metal jacket. That provides a couple of key advantages while you’re at the range. First, a TMJ keeps a firearm’s rifling cleaner, which helps to conserve its accuracy in between cleanings. Second, a TMJ’s inability to produce lead gas makes it the perfect selection for training inside inadequately ventilated indoor ranges. We’re not health nuts, but we acknowledge that lead gas isn’t as good for your health as … we don’t know, something like vitamins or spinach or running a marathon.
