About This Federal 5.56x45mm Ammunition
This military grade 5.56 NATO M855 ammo is the perfect stuff for your AR-15. This ammo is manufactured by Federal and comes packaged in a 50 cal ammo can. These ammo cans are water and crush resistant, and will keep your ammo in good condition for YEARS!Each round is loaded with a standard 62 grain M855 Green Tip projectile, and will have a muzzle velocity of approximately 3100 feet per second (the actual muzzle velocity will depend on the length of the barrel of your firearm). This is the same stuff that the US military and many other militaries use as their primary rifle round, so you know that it will be high quality. This ammo is ideal for range training and rifle marksmanship, and it can also be used for varmint hunting in a pinch. It is not ideal for home defense due to the potential for over penetration. This is non-corrosive, reloadable ammunition.

Posted onThis is hand down the best ammo whether or not your in the military,contractor or the weekend warrior type. This is a great home defense round if your using any type of AR platform. This ammo shoot clean all day long. As long as you can afford to stash it I would recommend it now. Also this is a round that I would take into service and or for fun at the range. Enjoy all you POGS

I have not had a chance to shoot the ammo, but I am confident it will perform per military spec.
