M193 is the quintessential 5.56 cartridge, with a 55 grain FMJBT projectile that feeds dependably from a magazine, prevents accelerated barrel leading, and retains greater velocity downrange courtesy of its ballistically efficient base. A cannelure around the bullet’s midsection helps to prevent setback caused by recoil.
This ammo has virgin brass cases, which weren’t buffed up after they were annealed for added durability. That’s why you see some grayness around their shoulders. This ammo is also non-corrosive to prevent rust and nonmagnetic to prevent picky rangemasters from telling you that you can’t fire it at their ranges.
