About This Federal 5.56x45mm Ammunition

Then you want Federal American Eagle BULK ammunition: 1,000 rounds of 5.56x45 NATO all piled together in a single convenient 26-pound case.Federal used to make this ammo at the Lake City Ammunition Plant, but since Winchester won the Lake City Contract in 2020, Federal now makes this in Anoka, Minnesota. This is nearly identical to the stuff that the US army uses (Federal just pops a little X in front of the M193 military designation to show that this ammo was specifically made for regular Joes and not men and women in uniform.)
M193 ammo is great for any kind of target shooting, with an unsophisticated 55 grain FMJ projectile that delivers good accuracy within its effective range of 300 yards. This ammo is 100% nonmagnetic so you can fire it wherever you please, and its powerful little bullet is going to deal plenty of damage if the situation ever warrants using your range loads for personal protection.
This ammo is non-corrosive, clean-burning and brass cased. Some folks worry that these brass cases are reloaded, but rest assured: the grayness around these cases’ mouths is only there because the U.S. Army doesn’t care about issuing ammo with shiny cases.
