5.56X45 WINCHESTER USA 55 GRAIN FMJ (1000 ROUNDS)

Ammo manufacturers have a lot of different names for their various lines of ammunition. We like none better than USA. This 5.56x45 ammunition by Winchester is made in America, by Americans, for Americans to load in our country’s most popular rifle.

This AR-15 cartridge is essentially loaded to M193 specs, making it perform interchangeably with the same stuff our Army uses. As such its bullet weighs 55 grains and has a full metal jacket, making it no more complicated than a lead core with hard copper alloy plating. Feeds good, shoots clean, and doesn’t expand after hitting its target. Use this ammo to perforate paper or waste bottles and fruits, or set it aside for the kind of emergency that calls for at least a thousand rounds of 5.56.

This isn’t like Russia’s mass-produced rifle ammunition. It has solid brass cases for reloading, non-corrosive Boxer primers, and steel-free nonmagnetic bullets for compliance with certain indoor ranges’ ammo policies. This ammo comes inside a big plastic bag contained within a single cardboard box.

    Hey, it's Winchester, can't be bad can it? The only problem is the hoops they (Winchester) want you to jump through to get your rebate. UPC code cut from EACH box of ammo? FIFTY 20 round boxes....really?
