5.56X45MM HORNADY FRONTIER 55 GRAIN FMJ M193 (500 ROUNDS)
This 5.56x45 cartridge is from Hornady’s Frontier line of ammunition. It is made at the Lake City Ammunition Plant, and therefore has a high quality military grade brass casing, non-corrosive primer, and clean burning propellant. That makes it perfect for the handloader, but note that you’ll have to deal with a military primer crimp before you introduce a new primer to the casing.This is an M193 round, and therefore has a 55 grain projectile with a gilded metal jacket. The bullet’s jacket reflects Hornady’s vast experience creating bullets in every way, and is concentric enough to let the bullet fly true. That jacket further makes feeding reliable in a semi-automatic, and protects the bore from accumulating lead residue. You can count on Hornady’s inspection to have assured that each of these half thousand rounds will perform in exactly the same way, regardless of the firearm you utilize them in.

Posted onI just took a Carbine course where is used my earlier purchased Frontier 1000 loose rounds. They were accurate and went bang.
