The bullet is light because it does not contain one atom of lead. The copper-jacketed, aluminum-core bullet is accordingly suitable for hunting in lead-free jurisdictions and training at lead-free ranges. Even this round’s sealed primer is lead-free! The SS195LF cartridge is also suitable for defensive applications, as its jacketed hollow point bullet is engineered to undergo rapid terminal expansion.
