50 Cal BMG - 660 gr FMJBT - PMC - 10 Rounds

If you're into shooting high caliber rifles, you'll appreciate the (relatively) low price and strong performance of these .50 BMG PMC rounds from one of South Korea's top defense contractors. These rounds fire a 660 grain full metal jacket bullet at 3,080 feet per second out of the muzzle. A boat tail keeps the bullet stable in flight, helping to produce the long range accuracy large-bore shooters demand. Like other PMC ammo, these cartridges use non-corrosive Boxer primers and brass cases. Each box contains 10 rounds.

The .50 BMG cartridge has served with the US armed forces since 1921, along with variants of the "Ma Deuce" M2 Browning Machine Gun it was designed for. During World War II, the "fifty cal" was used in everything from B-17 bombers to armored halftracks. During the Vietnam War, however, a new role for the cartridge emerged as snipers including the legendary Carlos Hathcock began to adapt it for long-range precision shooting, scoring kills against "Charlie" at ranges up to (and sometimes beyond) 2 kilometers (1.25 mi). Today, the .50 BMG sees use not just in machine guns but in anti-materiel rifles from Barrett, McMillan, Armalite, and others.
