This 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge by Federal is crowned with a 140 grain projectile, which is on the upper scale of bullet weights for factory loads of its caliber. It is an accurate bullet, expertly seated and wearing a concentric jacket for assured straight flight downrange. It’s also an especially potent bullet, a soft point capable of devastating expansion. The bullet’s hard jacket enables it to penetrate deeply, and its toothed cannelure anchors the core to its jacket tightly so that the two can retain a better part of their combined weight during penetration.
