This cartridge features Hornady’s 100 grain ELD-VT projectile. Between its long, smooth profile, outstandingly concentric AMP jacket and deformation-proof Heat Shield polymer tip, the ELD-VT has everything it needs to hold a flat and highly consistent trajectory. If you’re firing a rifle with a 24” barrel and 1.5” high sights, you can expect the 0.488 G1/0.266 G7 BC projectile to rise just 1.26” en route to a 200-yard zero, and then drop to -5.46” at 300 yards. Flat as a topographical map of Nebraska!

The ELD-VT’s best trick comes last. Its polymer tip, thin jacket mouth and dense lead core all work together to supply dramatic terminal fragmentation. The buzzards will have a field day finding every piece of the varmints you shot.
