This ammunition is produced in the Philippines by Armscor, which has been in business since 1905 (although they admittedly got their start as a sporting goods store). Today they utilize a state-of-the-art factory to mint fine range ammunition by the truckload!

This ammo really hits that sweet spot as far as high-volume range fodder goes. Loaded to M80 specs, its 147 grain FMJ achieves a muzzle velocity of 2,665 fps to establish a flat and predictable flight path. The FMJ isn’t an especially fancy bullet, but it does excel at preventing feeding jams and excessive barrel fouling. Importantly, Armscor’s 7.62x51 FMJ contains steel and will draw a magnet.
