A great marksman deserves great ammunition. This 7.62x51 ammo by IMI Systems is loaded with the sharpshooter’s preferred open tip match – a bullet which superficially resembles a hollow point, but which does not mushroom or otherwise deform significantly during penetration. The OTM is not a good choice for deer hunting because it puts all its bones on accuracy and accuracy alone!This round’s bullet starts out as a hollow shell of a copper jacket. The concentric vessel is filled with molten lead, which hardens in place to become perfectly uniform in weight distribution. So well-balanced a bullet boasts stellar rotational stability, which alongside its sleek overall profile delivers awesome accuracy. This is a heavyweight 175 grain bullet, too, so it’s much less susceptible to getting blown off-course by wind.
IMI Systems is Israel’s military munitions manufacturer, but this is new production ammo and not aged military surplus. As such it’s loaded with non-corrosive Boxer primers, clean-burning powder and premium reloadable brass cases.
