This 7.62x51mm cartridge features a 145 grain full metal jacket projectile, making it effective for training or target practice as it will feed reliably in a semi-automatic firearm, prevent the rapid accumulation of lead residue which impacts a weapon’s accuracy, and penetrate even the more obstinate plinking targets. This round has a brass casing, although its Berdan primer makes it somewhat unconducive to handloading. Furthermore, this round’s corrosive primer means that you would better fire it sooner than a few decades from now.This ammo was manufactured in Ethiopia for use in their military’s imported American M14 rifles. As such you’ll very much enjoy training with it in the same, and it will perform well in your 308, too. This ammo comes neatly packaged in the same steel ammo can in which it has sat since the 1970s or 80s. Once you’ve emptied its contents you can use this sturdy 30 Cal ammo can for any purpose which an ammo can fulfill.
