About This Wolf 7.62 x 54R Ammunition
This 7.62x54r cartridge from Wolf’s Military Classic line of ammunition will save you big money while you’re making big noises down at the range!This round features a steel shell casing, which is substantially more economical than any casing made of brass. Wolf’s own polymer treatment lets their casings cycle smoothly through a Mosin’s bolt action, and is formulated not to melt off during ignition. This round’s cost-effective Berdan primer is also non-corrosive for even cleaner shooting, although the sum of these features also means a round that you can’t handload.
This round’s 148 grain projectile has a full bimetal jacket. Its copper-washed exterior is gentle on a rifle’s bore and prevents its riflings from gumming up with lead, and its steel under layer strengthens the bullet to preserve its shape in the face of intense chamber pressure. (If your range bans magnetic ammo, don’t try to sneak this ammo past them.)

Posted onGreat light ball range ammo. I believe the cases are bi metal. Seems plenty reliable and works great in my psl.
