    The ammo showed up when expected. I shot 350 rounds with my brand new gun in less than an hour with no issues with the ammo. My gun did miss feed one round, but that was in the first 50 rounds, so I think the gun was still a little stiff. It seems to be worked out now.

  • Jacket separation - a known issue

    The jacket separates from the bullet after leaving the barrel, which means you’re going to have shrapnel holes in your target close distances. This is a known issue: google the phrase, Blazer ammo jacket separation for several detailed discussions. It’s not going to matter to some people if what they’re looking for is cheap ammo for plinking. If you’re going to be scoring your targets, the extra holes might be an issue.

    Some of the rounds are shorter. Freind has a case with the same problem. His gun eats them up. My 2011 double fed twice today. Never had this type of malfunction before.

    I have shot this ammo in AR 9mm and Mac many different pistols. Velocity is consistently around 1,050 FPS. AR and Mac 9mm velocity is slightly higher around 1150 FPS. This seems to be consistent over the years.

    I Never thought that factory ammo which would have such great reviews would misfeed in my guns. Most of them Glocks (19, 17, 43x, 43). Unbelievable.

    However, my CZ P10C didn’t misfeed. That’s truly strange, as it’s usually the Glocks which can eat any ammo.

    But I’m incredibly disappointed in Blazer. Will not buy again.

    As a shooter of about a year, I started with Blazer which was very good, reliable ammo for the range with no issues. When I tried other brands a bit cheaper, I had issues and my gun didn't like it. Basically it was junk and a waste of money. I'm sticking with Blazer brass from now on.

    Ok so I was skeptical at first what with the lengthy legal mumbo-jumbo and all, however many sites have similiar requirements so I placed my order. Very long story put somewhat brief, shipping took a bit longer than expected and so I contacted Ammoman for help.
    To my surprise, and well after closing time, Max replied to my inquiry. It seems that FedEx has a couple of version when it comes to delivery. FedEx "GROUND" is different than "EXPRESS" (this is important because you MAY be required to go to a post office to receive your shipment). In any case Max at AMMOMAN contacted FedEx to find out where my order had gone and he kept me in the communication loop the entire time. Customers matter to this company. While there was a bit of a problem that WAS NOT Ammoman's fault, they did a great job in resolving the issues. And "yes", my order did arrive later than expected but Max did a super job on the customer service end.
    So what are you waiting for?

    I am very happy with these ammo. I used to shoot the cheaper aluminium shells, since I don't reload and I still don't. But there is something about these brass shells, they just feed better. I have gone through 500 rounds in my M9 and without a single jam. I used to get about a jam roughly once per 100 rounds on the aluminum shells. Also these shoots super clean, after 500 rounds I only wipe down and give the barrel a quick clean and back to the range.

    This is one product that works flawlessly in my very picky Uzi due to a heavy recoil spring in it, so getting a case of this will save me a ton of time trying to find the 5201 Blazer Brass in stores. Additionally, it seems to cycle the best in my CZ-75 SP01 compared to lower power loads like PMC, Remington, etc. It might run a little dirtier but keeping your gun clean each time you hit the range should prevent this from becoming an issue.

    CCI is my all time favorite primer for reloading I have always had the best results using the CCI and this brass is outstanding for reloads too. the 124 meets my needs nicely for practice ammo in the same weight as my carry ammo and at the current holiday sale price DELIVERED!!!
