This 9mm cartridge’s full metal jacket bullet wouldn’t be very interesting if you only dissected it. It’s a lead core surrounded in copper – nothing fancier. The bullet becomes much more interesting if you weigh it, as well as chronograph its muzzle velocity out of a 4” barrel. At 100 grains and 1,130 fps, respectively, the projectile just hasn’t got enough oomph to kick back very hard on the shooter.
