Steel Shells?

Posted onI have to claim stupidity on my part for ordering this. Who would of thought that Winchester would make steel shell ammo junk? At least with the Russian garbage it is coated, but this stuff is not what you want in your pistol if you value it. I cannot believe I did this. I had to go back to AmmoMan's website to be sure it said steel, and it did, so I am clearly stupid.

Fine for the range and nowhere else

Posted onOut of 250 rounds, I had one failure to eject from a Glock 43. Glock 19 has run with zero failures. By no means a "clean" ammo, but I cannot say there was anything particularly noticeable about residue either. This is meant to be cheap range ammo and it performs as billed.

Posted onVery pleased with ammo and performance. However there were two rounds out of the 1k that had been damaged in the manufacturing process. The case mouth had a small area peeled back and smashed almost flat against the casing. Obviously these did not chamber. Will buy again for plinking but will inspect each round better when loading magazine.

Posted onThis ammunition is a couple pennies Cheaper per round then any russian ammo such as Tula. The Winchester USA Forged, however, is superior. Have pie plate accuracy @25 yards. Start stocking up before the panic really hits. Have fired rounds without any malfunctions. I clean gun after each session and even though gun maybe a bit dirty, the cost makes extra cleaning worth the money. Will definitely buy again. Can’t beat ammoman’s 2 day shipping!
