This cartridge is loaded with a big, beefy and 100% nonmagnetic 147 grain full metal jacket projectile. The FMJ’s 975 fps muzzle velocity (out of a 4” barrel) does mean it's going to drop relatively faster, but hey – at least you won’t have to issue a cracking report every time you squeeze the bang switch.
FMJ bullets can’t expand (hence their unpopularity for self-defense), although any claim that a FMJ can’t neutralize a threat is confirmed malarkey. Keep a few boxes stashed away for a cataclysm and you might just be grateful for your foresight someday!
PMC’s brass cases aren’t match quality, but that shouldn’t stop a handloader from making great use of them. Their Boxer primers aren’t corrosive, so you won’t have to boil your pistol once range day is done and dusted. Is the shipping free? We’ll answer that question this way: Yes!

How quickly did your order arrive? How likely are you to recommend this product to a friend?
Posted onI ordered 200 rds of 147gr Jhp LE overstock. I shoot a S&W M&P9 Performance Center, but with a WILSON COMBAT MATCH GRADE BARREL. If you own one, you know they take good quality ammo only. I just re-certified with KCMO PD 9/30/24 with this ammo and it was flawless, 2nd time, same excellent results, mid 90's no flyers. I want to thank the house for quick service on their part. All around very pleased.
