This cartridge sports the SFHP – a jacketed hollow point of PMC’s own design and creation. Its unique ogive is shaped to promote feeding just as smooth as a round nose FMJ, and it is backed by propellant that is similarly engineered to support reliable functionality in a semi-automatic. The SFHP additionally features flutes and ribs, both of which help it open up wide as it bores through soft tissue. Under optimal conditions, the SFHP can double its original diameter: extreme trauma to surrounding soft tissues coupled with a lower chance that the bullet will pass clean through the threat.

PMC manufactures their own cases from high-grade raw brass. They are robust, pin-straight and reloadable, as well as outfitted with noncorrosive Boxer primers.
